Information on the US is taken from Borowczyk-Martins and Lalé (2016), Table 5 and applies to the years 2009–2015 based on monthly CPS data. The numbers are very similar for the longer period 1994–2019 (see Borowczyk-Martins and Lalé 2019, Tables 2 and 6)
